I have problems enrolling in the program

If you need technical assistance, please contact technical support at: (727) 526-0317. Please remember to type the registration name in standard format, (not all capital letters), and to be very careful to include all the basic information requested.

Be certain that all of the information is correct since it is needed by the dispensing pharmacy.

I'm having problems printing my Member Identification card.

You need to have Adobe® Acrobat™ Reader installed on your computer. It is a free document reader program, and can be easily installed on your computer by visiting Adobe's website, and following their step-by-step instructions.

If you need technical assistance, please contact technical support at: (727) 526-0317.

My ID card has only one name. Is my entire family covered?

Yes. Your identification card is valid for everyone in your immediate family, even if they live in another location.

Can I register each family member individually?

Yes, if you wish to do so.

Can I register my friend or relative?

Since this card is eligibility-managed and the information provided is used by the pharmacy during the prescription dispensing process, it is important for each household to register for its own members. Friends and neighbors can use your computer, but they should register under their own household names. Non-immediate family relatives living with you should register separately and have their own cards.

My child has a different last name. How is this handled?

The simplest way is to register the child separately and provide him or her with their own card.

Do you allow unmarried couples to participate?

Yes. We welcome participation by anyone who wishes to save money on prescription medication purchases. However, since the information collected during the registration process is used by the dispensing pharmacy for identification and verification purposes, if the last names are different it is best that each person register individually and to use the name that will appear on their prescriptions.

Is this available only to U.S. citizens? Do you have any state residency requirements?

No. The information we request is very limited, and is used only for pharmacy administration purposes. There are no questions about citizenship or residency.

How soon can I use my card to start saving money?

You may use your card around noon the business day following your registration.

I am covered by an insurance program. Can this program help me?

If you have insurance, you should always use it first. However, you can use this program to save money when purchasing medications not covered by your insurance (formulary exclusions or limitations). A common example is Viagra. You can also use this program to save money on medication purchases if you exceed your annual prescription benefit limits.

Is there a monthly fee or a registration fee for this program?

No.

Is this savings program "insurance" or an insurance type program?

No.

We have no insurance, and have a very sick family member who is taking lots of expensive medications. Are we eligible for this program?

Yes, this program has no exclusions or limitations based on need or medical condition. Your savings card is available for use about noon of the following business day.

How can I print additional cards for family members?

From the preview window, press the print button on your toolbar for each card you wish printed. Or you can go to File, and select the Print option. We suggest you print extra cards and store them in a safe place in case one becomes lost.

I lost my card, do I have to re-register?

Yes, this is the simplest and quickest way to receive another card. Print out several copies, and put them in a safe place. Present the new card to your pharmacist and inform him it is a new card when you pick up your next prescription.

I moved, do I need a new card?

Yes, simply re-register and print a new card. Your pharmacist needs your correct address and birthday, and if possible a phone number in order to verify your identity when filling and dispensing your prescriptions.

If my pharmacist has a question, whom should he call?

If your pharmacist has any questions about your program, ask him to call the Pharmacist Help Line at the toll-free number printed on your card. Or, Health Plan Partners, LLC. at (727)526-0317.

Is my registration information kept private?

Your data is confidential and maintained on a secure server. It is never used for any other purpose other than direct administration of your prescription savings program. No personally identifiable medical or pharmaceutical information is available to anyone not directly involved in program administration. For more information, please see our section on Confidentiality.

Do I need to present my ID card each time I buy a prescription.

No. If you use the same pharmacy chain, you can tell your pharmacist to fill all future prescriptions using this ID card. He will enter the information in his computer system and you will not need to show your ID card. If you change pharmacies, you will need to present your card the first time you purchase a prescription, but not thereafter.

Can I go to any pharmacy?

No, you need to go to one of the participating pharmacies listed on your printout, or you may look up a convenient network pharmacy using our search tool, shown on our website.

How do I print my card?

Your card is displayed in Adobe® Acrobat™ for the best quality resolution and reproduction. Adobe® Acrobat™ is required for you to view and print your card. It is available at no cost from Adobe by clicking here and following the simple installation instructions. From the preview window, press the print button on your toolbar for each card you wish printed. Alternatively, you can select the Print option from the File menu.

I entered my group number on the Rx pricing page, but I get a "N/A", or "Group Not found" or another error message.

You must enter your group ID in all capital letters, exactly as printed on your ID card with no spaces between the letters. You must also choose a medication name and enter it in the box below "Group ID."

Tell me more about the pricing.

To get accurate pricing, you must enter both the correct quantity and day supply exactly as ordered on the prescription by your physician. Quantity is entered in the first box, and Days in the second box. Also, be sure you choose the correct strength. Be sure to read the directions carefully on each page.

Prices on our website reflect the average prescription prices using the prescription program card at your local participating pharmacy. Final pricing may vary depending on your quantity, pharmacy and geographic location.

Please remember that medication pricing can be somewhat complicated especially for certain powder and liquid medications. To help give you the most accurate indicator, the pricing on our website tool is defaulted to the typical amount prescribed; but the final price at the pharmacy may vary since pricing is sometimes based on metric units, rather than complete bottles or packages. Your purchase, nevertheless, will be under our national contract and you will receive a savings from normal retail pricing.

What does the term "Retail Pricing" on your website mean?

The term "retail" refers to in-store pricing using the program, and "mail-order" refers to prescriptions ordered through the mail-order program.

How much will I save by using this program?

As with all consumer products, medication prices can vary among pharmacies. There is no "standard" price for any particular medication among pharmacies which set their own prices for drugs, so no specific savings can be calculated.

Based on our own large group aggregate experience, we often see savings from 30% to 40%. For individuals, savings amounts will vary somewhat depending on what the pharmacy wishes to charge for medications. In general, depending on the medications purchased, savings can range from 10% to 60%.

I have an HSA, can I use this program?

Yes. Consult your administrator as to how to track expenses under your HSA.

I have a high deductible insurance plan, or a limited benefit policy. Is this program applicable?

Yes. Under a high deductible insurance policy, save your receipts and submit them to your insurer so they can apply to your deductible. Limited benefits policies usually do not have prescription programs, so this is an ideal companion program to help you and your family save money without ongoing monthly network fees.
